New Twist on Fraud: calling the number on the back of your credit card or bank statement may NOT
be as secure as you think!!! and how. Somone got the usual bogus looking Email from Amex & decided to call the number on the Card, not on the Email… Whoever answered obviously forwarded the info surreptitiously and within an hour, a USA number (NOT Amex!)
called thsi person representing AMEX and launching the usual Fraud,.
Even if the caller ID DID say AMEX you can not rely on this.
